# Pride Map 2026

Interactive map and calendar of LGBTQ+ Pride parades across Europe in 2026.

## What this site does

Pride Map 2026 shows 600+ Pride parade events across Europe on an interactive MapLibre map.
Events are colour-coded by how many days until they take place.
Users can filter by country, event size (small / medium / large relative to European prides),
and time frame (upcoming, this weekend, next weekend, past, all).
A list view with full-text search (including umlaut folding: u finds ü, s finds ß) is also available.
Search understands the national word for a Pride — CSD, Marche des Fiertés, Orgullo, Parada Równości
and so on — so "Orgullo Madrid", "CSD Berlin" and "Pride Berlin" all reach the same event.
The site supports English and German.

## Data

Each event has: city, country, date, size category, region (subnational entity in local language),
website, Instagram, first year the event was held, ILGA-Europe rainbow index score for the country,
and attendance figures where known (with source: authorities or organizers).
Events whose date was moved after being announced also carry the previous date and are marked
as rescheduled (schema.org EventRescheduled) on their page.

Countries covered include DE, AT, CH, FR, IT, GB, ES, NL, BE, SE, NO, DK, FI, PL, CZ, HU,
and many more across Europe.

- Event dates and details: manually researched from official event websites and local media
- Attendance: from official sources (police/authorities) or organizer announcements
- ILGA-Europe Rainbow Index scores: https://rainboweurope.ilga-europe.org/

## Technology

Vite + React 18, MapLibre GL JS, deployed to Hostinger and GitHub Pages.
No user tracking for visitors with Do Not Track enabled.
Privacy-respecting analytics via GoatCounter.
